The Administrative Services Analyst will independently review, document and propose corrections to problematic and complex policy issues and/or operational processes in Administrative Services to positively impact operational effectiveness.  The Administrative Service Analyst will lead and execute key advanced projects and be the functional expert on specific applications, including the illustration tool.

Responsibilities

  • Research, prepare, distribute and present incoming complaints to include state insurance department inquiries to corporate Complaint Committee. Provide verbal and/or written communication to the complainant, of the committee’s decision.
  • Identify systemic issues. Research problematic policies and provide resolution.
  • Define project scope, issues and options. Present to management for decision. Accurately and appropriately execute projects. Define project test conditions. Develop accurate and complete test plans. Conduct testing according to plan. Take action to identify, track and report issues in a timely manner. Prepare requirements, processes and recommendations.  Promptly provide comments, feedback and recommendations.
  • Identify and document system deficiencies and recommended solutions. Work with Information Technology to develop and test system modifications.
  • Define, develop and implement policy specific guidelines and procedures associated with new or existing federal and state regulatory laws.
  • Consult with Administrative Services management, Underwriting, Actuarial, Legal, Finance and Information Technology, on contractual, regulations, technology, and/or processes to resolve business requirements as directed.
  • Correct exceptional complex policy changes and elevated inquiries.
  • Complete quarterly goals and special projects, as assigned.
  • Train staff, as assigned.
  • Develop and document procedure manuals for Administrative Services.
  • Complete all other tasks and projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Education

High School diploma or equivalent

College preferred

LOMA 280 and 290 required within 1 year of employment

ACS designation within 2 years of employment

ALMI designation preferred

 

Experience/Knowledge

4+ years experience in life insurance related customer service

Project lead/analyst experience, preferred

Knowledge of Microsoft Office

Knowledge of Life Insurance products

What’s in it for you?

 

The expected hiring compensation range for this position is $58,100 - $79,850. This role will be working in a hybrid environment requiring 3 days in office per week.

 

The total compensation package for this position may include other elements, such as a sign-on bonus, long term incentives, and annual bonuses.  This role is eligible to participate in the Legal & General America Annual Incentive Plan. This role has 10 vacation days and 10 sick days that are accrued on a bi-weekly basis. Employees also have 9 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
