Purpose and Objective


LGRA is looking for an IT Portfolio Lead to help us grow/scale and ensure projects are efficiently implemented with quantifiable benefits optimally achieved. The individual will provide management of technology programs (projects) and vendors, advising the business, developing proposals into business cases, delivery of projects/programs of work, handling the business impacts, vendor SLAs and partnering across teams to lead aspects of the technology implementation.

The ideal candidate will possess the right balance of business understanding, senior stakeholder management, and project delivery skills. The candidate must be self-motivated and be able to work effectively within a matrix management environment, where several delivery teams are implementing components of the overall solutions. They need to ensure it is well governed, driven forwards and pragmatically implemented.


  • Participate as member of the management team that develops strategies for the larger organization
  • Contribute to the development of financial and resource planning needed to achieve business objectives
  • Work with users, partners, and cross functional teams to provide project support, resolve questions, assess needs, and recommend changes
  • Triage incoming demand and help projects align with resourcing
  • Coordinate technical integration across tracks of work
  • Assist with creating and providing high-level estimates for project planning
  • Translate technical concepts into business terms and vice versa
  • Raise risks and issues and serve as a project/program primary point of escalation
  • Ensure all results (oftentimes complex/interdisciplinary/interlinked) are clearly specified, prioritized and agreed to across all team(s) including larger global organization
  • Assist in the overall delivery across systems; identify gaps, problems and dependencies between individual teams/groups and systems
  • Collaborate with business leadership, architects, implementation partners and vendors to ensure alignment on strategy and execution
  • Operate independently on multiple projects focusing on priorities, and leading a high-volume of tasks, deadlines, requirements, and decisions
  • Identify improvement opportunities across teams and address as needed
  • Coordinate and facilitate project/program planning sessions and support delivery across teams
  • Facilitate use of program metrics and status to champion IT through their challenges
  • Collaborate across all divisions for planning, resourcing, budgeting, and appropriate technology solutions to ensure they align with the technology roadmap
  • Design insightful reporting for business operational improvement and benefit realization. Prepare communications and dashboards for IT projects to be shared across the business
  • Facilitate workshops, working with process owners/SMEs and technology teams to analyze and assess scope, support documentation of business requirements, processes and work instructions
  • Develop and ensure practical implementation of governance for software delivery


  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a business/systems analyst, IT project management
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a management, leadership, or similar role
  • Skilled in problem solving, technical analysis, organization and attention to detail
  • Strong leadership and relationship building skills, with ability to influence peers, leaders and business customers
  • Collaborative team player focused on achieving personal accomplishments through making those around you successful
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Working experience in Financial Services and/or Insurance (PRT) industry
  • Degree in Computer Science/Engineering/MIS or relative field with equivalent experience
  • Background in technology with experience using strategic enterprise patterns in SDLC
  • Knowledge or experience with Mainframe / legacy systems delivery/implementation
  • Background or experience with programming or scripting
  • Experience working with development processes across methodologies: agile, iterative, waterfall
  • Technical Lead / Project Management experience, specialized in PMP, Scrum a plus
