    Responsibilities

    The Enterprise Business Analyst will serve as the analytic consultant for Legal and General’s enterprise projects and programs. The role will be responsible for assisting Legal and General Project Management and Business Department’s project teams to plan activities and handle all business aspects of the requirements, analysis, and implementation phase of projects and programs.

    • Assist with implementation of technology solutions in a cost-effective way by determining and gathering the requirements of the enterprise project or program and communicating them clearly to all stakeholders and business partners. 
    • Create and provide documentation to the business areas outlining system validation procedures, system enhancements/changes, and if needed outstanding system defects. If outstanding defects exist when project or program is implemented into production, the Enterprise Business Analyst will continue to support and report on the effort to all stakeholders and business partners. 
    • Analyze and identify project improvement opportunities; prepare recommendations and facilitate implementation of enhancements and improvement opportunities. 
    • Provide leadership, motivation and guidance by working constructively with the project team members.  
    • Provide support and/or lead other operational projects as needed. Work independently on smaller scope projects or as a team member supporting larger projects that meet business needs and desired deliverables. 
    • Create user documentation and training materials; conduct end user training; and mentor other analysts on updates. 
    • Act as liaison between IT and business stakeholders; verbalizing business needs; and assisting in the deployment of solutions into the production environment.
    • Complete all other tasks and projects as assigned by management.

    Qualifications

    Education

    BS/BA Degree in Business or IT (may consider equivalent combination of education and experience)

    FLMI designation preferred

     

    Experience/Knowledge

    Project management experience is required

    2+ years of experience in life insurance industry
