    Responsibilities

    Conduct telephone interviews with proposed insured’s to solicit all personal and medical information required to successfully process an application for life insurance. Act as liaison between underwriters, general agents, and proposed insured(s) to facilitate the underwriting process. Perform limited case management duties to obtain all outstanding/open, underwriting/administrative requirements accurately and timely.

    Qualifications

    Interviewer:

    Knowledge of medical conditions and terminology

    2+ years’ experience in a customer service related position with telephone experience

    High school diploma or equivalent

    Ability to obtain insurance producer license with the Life line authority, within 6 months of employment

    Excellent time management and interpersonal and communication skills

    Detail oriented and high tolerance for repetitive tasks

    Proficient Microsoft Office skills and keyboarding at 40+ WPM

    Ability to work independently and within a team environment

    Must be able to work overtime as needed to meet business needs

    Ability to telecommute from primary residence with DSL internet speed of 50 download Mbps/10 upload Mbps

    Must be within commutable distance from the corporate office

    Flexibility to work at the corporate office for:

    • Initial training (minimum 90 days)
    • Quarterly team meetings
    • Refresher training
    • Special projects
