    Responsibilities

    The Business Systems Analyst will serve as the technical and analytic consultant for process automation and improvement opportunities. Responsible for working with business teams to identify, design, build, and support automated process solutions to scale business operations throughput and enhance quality of work product.

    • Design, develop, and build solutions using Robotic Process Automation tools (including VB, VBA, BluePrism, etc.,) that are in alignment with business requirements and deliver efficiency, cost savings.
    • Identify processes across the organization that are suitable for automation, developing a solution using the appropriate process automation tool following a defined approach and governance/risk management structure.
    • Research and analyze business improvement opportunities; conduct/manage process flow analysis and development; prepare recommendations and facilitate implementation of enhancements and automation improvement opportunities.
    • Lead development efforts to integrate, cleanse, and deliver data to downstream processes and systems employing Process Automation tools.
    • Provide support for other operational projects as needed. Work independently on smaller scope projects or as a team member supporting larger projects that meet business needs and desired deliverables.
    • Develop business requirement documents and specifications for projects; lead efforts to develop new or revised processes or procedures in lieu of system development.
    • Create user documentation and training materials; conduct end user training; and mentor other analysts on updates.
    • Coordinate recommended other process changes, enhancements, and product implementations including test plans to ensure successful implementation.
    • Act as liaison between IT and business stakeholders; verbalizing business needs; and assisting in the deployment of solutions into the production environment.
    • Use and/or develop data management best practices and standards for data integration, transformation, quality, and other data movement related activities.
    • Complete all other tasks and projects as assigned by management.

    Qualifications

    Education

    BS/BA Degree in Business or IT (may consider equivalent combination of education and experience.)

    VB or VBA programming

    FLMI designation preferred

     

    Experience/Knowledge

    5+ years experience in process automation role with demonstrated achievements.

    4+ years BluePrism or other RPA modular experience preferred.

    Project management experience.

    Experience in life insurance industry preferred.
